1. What this service is
We connect Lancaster and Palmdale homeowners with independent, licensed local contractors. Lancaster Garage Conversion is a free referral service — not a contractor — and does not perform construction work. Contracts and payments are made directly with the contractor.
We are not a licensed contractor and do not bid, contract for, supervise or perform construction work. We do not provide legal, architectural, engineering, tax or financial advice.
2. Referrals
When you submit a request, we may share it with one independent contractor holding an active California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license in the classification the work requires. We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available, the price, quality, timeliness or outcome of any work. Any agreement is solely between you and the contractor. We may receive a referral fee from the contractor; you pay us nothing.
3. Your responsibilities
Verify the contractor’s license, insurance and bonding (see the CSLB License Check), get a written contract, and confirm permit requirements with your city or county. California law limits down payments on home improvement contracts — ask the contractor and review the CSLB’s consumer guidance.
4. Information on this site
