Privacy Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026. This policy explains what Lancaster Garage Conversion (“we”, “us”) collects, how it is used and shared, and your California privacy rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA”) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (“CalOPPA”).
Who we are
We connect Lancaster and Palmdale homeowners with independent, licensed local contractors. Lancaster Garage Conversion is a free referral service — not a contractor — and does not perform construction work. Contracts and payments are made directly with the contractor. Information we collect
- Information you give us through our request form: name, phone number, email address, city, garage type, project goal, budget range, timeline and any notes you write.
- Technical information your browser sends automatically when you visit (such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page), which our hosting and form-processing providers may log for security and delivery.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA.
How we use it
- To connect you with an independent, licensed contractor for the project you described.
- To respond to you, prevent spam and abuse, and operate and improve the website.
- To comply with law.
How we share it
- One contractor. When you submit the form and give consent, we share your request with one independent contractor holding an active California CSLB license for the work, so that contractor can contact you about your project. That contractor may compensate us for the referral. The contractor’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy practices.
- Service providers that host the site and deliver form submissions to us by email, acting on our behalf.
- Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell lists of homeowners, and we do not share your request with multiple contractors.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA)
California residents may have the right to: know what personal information we collected, used, disclosed and (if applicable) sold or shared; access a copy; correct inaccurate information; delete it; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; limit use of sensitive personal information (we don’t collect any); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Passing your request to a contractor who pays us a referral fee may be considered a “sale” under the CCPA. You may opt out at any time — before or after submitting a request — by emailing tzvi.divi@mail.tab.bot with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out request for the browser that sends them. Simply not submitting the form means nothing is shared.
How to make a request: email tzvi.divi@mail.tab.bot. We will verify your request by matching the contact details you provided, and respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent.
Categories (last 12 months): identifiers (name, email, phone); property and project details you provide; internet activity logs. Sources: you and your browser. Purpose: the referral and site operation. Disclosed to: one licensed contractor and our service providers.
Retention
We keep request information only as long as needed for the referral, record-keeping and legal purposes, and then delete it — typically no longer than 24 months.
Cookies and tracking (CalOPPA)
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. Do Not Track: because we do not track you across other websites, our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal. If we add analytics or call tracking in the future, we will update this policy first. If a phone number is added to this site, calls may be recorded for quality and to connect you with a contractor, and you will be told so.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission. No method is 100% secure.

We will post any changes here with a new “last updated” date.
